My name is Art Cole and I have an educational background in Commercial Art and Studio Art. I live and work in Northern Virginia, USA, and on occasion work as a photographer in my community using my Digital SLR. Photography has been a passion of mine for five years. Digital photography fever began in the spring of 2000 with the purchase of my first digital camera. I then began to learn and grow in this fantastic fine art medium with the help of experienced and budding photographers, who like me, posted and critiqued images at a variety of online photo sites.

In the last five years several of my images have been highlighted by Minolta USA, Bestfoto.com, Steves-digicams.com , DigitalPhotoContest.com, Photoblink.com, and Digital Photography Internationale. I have also won ribbons in local photo print competitions.

I have several online galleries that reflect an eclectic focus. I am as happy photographing wildlife as I am portraits
